Job description for IT Support & Helpdesk at DASKA CONSULTING

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT Support / Helpdesk professional to provide technical assistance, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication in English, and basic knowledge of networking and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users (hardware, software, and network issues)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including internet connectivity and LAN/WAN systems
  • Assist in basic electrical setup and maintenance related to IT equipment (power supply, cabling, etc.)
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, calls, and emails in a timely manner
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and user guides
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
  • Ensure data security and backup procedures are properly implemented

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT Support or Helpdesk role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and hardware troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems related to IT infrastructure
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, and internet troubleshooting
  • English proficiency (written and verbal) is required
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
