Job description for IT Service Desk (Onsite Project Yogyakarta) at Lawencon International
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT Service Desk or IT Support (fresh graduates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of operating systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of hardware such as computers, printers, and networking devices.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, OTRS, or Zendesk
- Proficiency in troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft Office 365, antivirus software, and other common applications.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Solution-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional demeanor, patience, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Job Descriptions:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, responding to service desk tickets, phone calls, and emails.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve basic networking issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Assist users with problems related to Microsoft Office 365, antivirus software, and other commonly used applications.
- Provide support for various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Perform routine updates, patches, and system maintenance.
- Use remote desktop tools to provide support to users.
- Work with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, OTRS, or Zendesk to track and manage user requests.
- Guide users on best practices and proper usage of IT systems.
- Create and update knowledge base articles or user guides for recurring issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Support IT projects, including hardware upgrades or system migrations.
- Ensure excellent customer service, demonstrating patience and professionalism even under pressure.
