Job description for IT Project Manager - (Banking Project) at PT Aktualisasi Gratia Talenta Indonesia

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic banking projects and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management expertise, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience managing banking technology projects using Agile Scrum and Waterfall Hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, Infrastructure Teams, and Vendors.
  • Facilitate project governance, steering committee meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Ensure project delivery complies with banking regulations, internal governance standards, and security requirements.
  • Manage project execution using Agile Scrum and Waterfall Hybrid methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Track project activities, backlog items, risks, and deliverables using Jira and Confluence.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, project dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and production rollout activities.
  • Manage vendor coordination and third-party engagements when required.
  • Conduct project closure activities, lessons learned sessions, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and with the expected quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, or Enterprise Technology projects.
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing both Agile Scrum and Waterfall Hybrid projects.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project governance frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum and Waterfall Hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change management processes.
