Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production applications and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and infrastructure issues.
- Analyze logs, application behavior, and system performance to identify root causes of incidents.
- Support deployment activities and release management processes.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.
- Perform routine operational tasks, including system health checks, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in incident response and on-call support when required.
- Support application performance tuning and optimization initiatives.
- Assist in automating operational processes and monitoring activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support, Production Support, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Java applications and ability to analyze Java logs and application behavior.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Understanding of application deployment and release processes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
