IT Operations & Support Engineer
Location : Denpasar
Easy Rent Bali is modernizing car rental and travel operations through an AI-first engineering culture. We are looking for an adaptive, tech-savvy problem solver to own our daily technical health: diagnosing bugs, executing QA testing, maintaining system workflows, and troubleshooting operational edge cases.
In this role, AI tools are your standard operating toolkit. You will use modern AI workflows, prompt orchestration, and rapid debugging tools to solve day-to-day operational issues fast, while occasionally assisting the core development team on feature rollouts, internal automation, and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Daily Operations & Troubleshooting: Handle daily IT triage, identify system bottlenecks, resolve hardware/OS/network hiccups, and fix operational errors across customer-facing and internal tools. Ready to be placed on night shift nor Kuta Branch Office at random situational occurrences.
- Bug Fixing & Enhancements: Trace bugs across web apps, backend services, and database records using AI-assisted debugging; deploy quick patches and incremental fixes.
- QA & System Testing: Execute manual and automated quality assurance tests on new features, edge builds, integrations, and operational workflows before production deployment.
- AI-First Problem Solving: Leverage LLMs, AI agents, and code-generation tools as primary mechanisms to diagnose issues, draft test cases, parse logs, and build rapid script solutions.
- Core Development Support: Assist the main engineering team with ad-hoc development tasks, spec-driven feature building, database updates, and API integrations when needed.
- Workflow Automation & Documentation: Identify recurring operational pain points, build lightweight automation/scripts to eliminate repetitive manual work, and document reproducible steps.
Requirements & Technical Mindset
- AI-Native Workflow: Daily comfort using AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, and LLM-driven research to debug, script, and troubleshoot efficiently.
- Core IT Foundations: Solid baseline understanding of modern web architectures, APIs, basic databases (SQL/NoSQL), networking, and cloud services.
- OS & Environment Familiarity: Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting across common environments (Linux, macOS, Windows, Android, iOS).
- Code & Scripting Literacy: Ability to read, understand, and safely modify code (TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, basic shell scripting, or backend endpoints).
- QA & Analytical Thinking: Sharp attention to edge cases, UI/UX inconsistencies, data mismatch errors, and workflow regressions.
- Adaptability & Curiosity: Fast hands-on learner ready to dive into unfamiliar codebases, platforms, and operational setups.
- Communication: Strong professional English communication skills to document findings, write clear bug tickets, and collaborate across teams.
