Job Description
- Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Perform operating system installation, software deployment, and system configuration.
- Monitor and ensure the availability of IT infrastructure and end-user devices.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents based on SLA, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Support user account management, email configuration, and basic access management.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party providers for issue resolution.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks on IT equipment.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical assistance during IT projects, system rollouts, and equipment deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an IT Support, IT Onsite Engineer, Helpdesk, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and peripheral device support.
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools is an advantage.
- Experience using ITSM or ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, etc.) is preferred.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willing to work onsite in Pekanbaru and travel to client sites if required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of basic server administration is an advantage.
- Familiarity with network devices such as switches, routers, and access points.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
