Job description for IT Manager at PT Sangga Bisnis Anda
We are looking for an IT Manager position for our client, a leading telecommunications and digital infrastructure company across APAC. This position will lead, manage, and develop the IT function to ensure that technology strategies, systems, infrastructure, applications, and IT operations are effectively managed, properly documented, and aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Location: outside Indonesia (willing to relocate)
Scope of Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the IT team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and ensure the continuity of systems, applications, infrastructure, and IT operations.
- Oversee application and internal system development and maintenance.
- Manage environments based on Linux (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Manage infrastructure and platforms including VMware vSphere, Proxmox, and Docker.
- Manage databases including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Manage source code, repositories, and development workflows using GitHub.
- Manage and oversee CI/CD pipelines and environment management.
- Ensure proper API integration and documentation, including the use of Swagger.
- Oversee basic networking requirements, including TCP/IP, DNS, and Firewall.
- Apply Agile methodology in IT work coordination and management.
- Manage tasks, timelines, and priorities using tools such as Trello and Notion.
- Establish and monitor IT team KPIs.
- Develop and ensure the implementation of IT SOPs.
- Handle and document IT incidents and conduct evaluations to prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure IT audit readiness and support audit processes when required.
- Conduct regular evaluations of systems, infrastructure, and IT processes.
- Identify technology risks, improvement opportunities, and development needs.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to translate business requirements into appropriate IT solutions.
- Ensure IT activities are completed according to agreed priorities and deadlines.
- Be willing to work in a 24/7 operational environment and handle emergency situations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in an IT leadership or team lead role.
- Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing IT teams.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of: Golang, PHP, Bash Script, REST API
- Working knowledge of: JavaScript (ES6+), NodeJS, Laravel, NextJS, Flutter, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS) Windows Server
- Experience or knowledge in managing: VMware vSphere, Proxmox, Docker, Oracle, MySQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, GitHub, CI/CD Pipeline, Environment Management
- Basic knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and Firewall.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, task coordination, documentation, KPI tracking, API documentation (Swagger), SOPs, incident reports, and audits.
- Strong integrity and time management skills.
- Fast learner, independent, critical thinker, and disciplined.
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and handle emergency situations.
