Responsibilities
- As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the management and reliability of Tritronik’s core infrastructure environments across internal, project, and product-related platforms.
- You will be responsible for server provisioning, operating system administration, virtualization platform support, storage infrastructure support, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and recovery operations, infrastructure patching, and capacity planning.
- Handle provisioning, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of infrastructure environments.
- You will also collaborate with DevOps and IT Security teams to ensure infrastructure environments are reliable, scalable, secure, and ready to support application deployment, product operations, and project delivery needs.
- Participate in infrastructure improvement, standardization, backup, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Manage server infrastructure operations, including provisioning, installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Administer Linux and Windows Servers environments to support internal, project, and product infrastructure needs.
- Maintain virtualization platforms to ensure infrastructure reliability, resource availability, and operational readiness.
- Support storage infrastructure operations, including capacity monitoring, allocation support, backup storage coordination, and performance considerations.
- Support infrastructure deployment for internal, project, and product environments.
- Perform infrastructure troubleshooting and incident handling related to servers, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, and supporting infrastructure components.
- Monitor infrastructure capacity, availability, and performance.
- Perform infrastructure sizing and dimensioning based on system requirements, workload characteristics, scalability expectations, and project or product needs.
- Provide infrastructure recommendations for compute, memory, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and network capacity planning.
- Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery preparation and execution.
- Coordinate with IT Security for infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, access review, and security baseline implementation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support infrastructure dependencies for Kubernetes, CI/CD, deployment environments, and platform operations.
- Support internal infrastructure, project infrastructure, and product platform infrastructure based on business and operational priorities.
- Prepare and maintain infrastructure documentation, configuration records, operational reports, and improvement recommendations.
- Participate in infrastructure standardization, performance improvement, operational scalability, and reliability initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure operations, system administration, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.
- Experience managing Linux server environments such as RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or Debian and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure operations and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in Linux server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting (RHEL/Rocky Linux/Ubuntu/Debian).
- Experience with virtualization platform operations such as VM provisioning, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting such as Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V, or OpenStack.
- Understanding of storage infrastructure concepts, including storage allocation, capacity monitoring, backup storage, and storage performance considerations.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes, container platforms, and CI/CD infrastructure dependencies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools for infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, routing, firewall basics, and infrastructure-level network troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Ansible) is a plus.
- Ability to perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning for CPU, memory, storage, network, and virtualization resources.
- Good documentation, operational reporting, and infrastructure inventory discipline.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and ownership mindset.
- Able to collaborate effectively with DevOps, IT Security, Product, and Project teams.
