Job description for IT Database Administrator (Middle Level) at Asian Technology Solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major; an IT-related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role.
- Proficient in Oracle RAC, RMAN, AWR, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Strong skills in SQL tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Good understanding of Oracle Database security, including users, roles, privileges, auditing, and data encryption.
- Proficient in Active Data Guard for replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager or other database monitoring tools.
- Experience in database patch management, upgrades, and migrations.
- Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or other relevant database certifications are a plus.
- Willing to work on a 24/7 shift schedule.
