IT Business Analyst

Job Description

- Identify, gather, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and system capabilities.

- Review, evaluate, and improve Functional and Non-Functional Requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system performance.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for development teams.

- Prepare and maintain business analysis documents, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).

- Develop process flows, use cases, and system models using BPMN or UML to support application development.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the system development and implementation process.

- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement validation sessions to ensure clear communication and alignment.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate system functionality, and ensure the delivered solution meets business requirements.

- Prepare user manuals, system documentation, and training materials, as well as conduct application training for end users.

- Monitor requirement traceability and ensure all agreed business requirements are properly implemented.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in system development or implementation projects.

- Proven experience in business requirements gathering, requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.

- Strong understanding of Functional and Non-Functional Requirements and business process analysis.

- Experience in developing BRD, FSD, SRS, user stories, and other system specification documents.

- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and application development processes.

- Knowledge of system integration, API concepts, database management, and application architecture.

- Experience in payment system development or implementation, particularly real-time payment systems, payment gateways, or financial transaction systems.

- Ability to analyze business processes and translate business needs into functional system requirements.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
