Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years in service delivery, preferably in a multi-national environment for IT technical and help desk areas
- Ability to multitask and handle high volumes in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common software applications
- Be accountable and prepared to address or support any cyber related concerns and issues
- Familiarity with network protocols, LAN/WAN, switches, and wireless technologies
- Including familiarity with Virtualization technologies like Proxmox and OpenStack
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting applications related to HRMS, finance, and internal business processes.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and Microsoft Teams, indicating experience with cloud-based collaboration and productivity tools.
- Familiarity with email servers and webmail applications
- Respond to IT helpdesk tickets, diagnose problems, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Educate end-users on IT best practices and guidelines to enhance productivity and security
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, both wired and wireless, and ensure network availability
- Assist with workstation setups, software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to IT Asset Management, covering procurement, deployment, maintenance, renewal, disposal, and auditing processes
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the reliability and security of internal operations through continuous monitoring, regular maintenance, systematic backups, and thorough health checks of all IT systems.
- Lead the IT Asset Management process, including strategic planning, efficient procurement, and meticulous inventory control, to ensure all IT assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.
- Implement robust security measures and protocols to protect organizational data and IT assets from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT asset database, documenting the acquisition, usage, maintenance, and decommissioning of assets.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets to verify compliance with licensing agreements and to identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in case of system failures or security breaches.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in IT asset management and cybersecurity, adopting best practices to enhance organizational security posture.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices and asset management into the company’s overall IT strategy.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT security best practices and responsible asset usage, fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability across the organization.
