This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial private equity team in Southeast Asia in an Investment Analyst position.

As Investment Analyst you will play a key role in supporting the team on deal evaluation and execution as well as management of existing portfolio companies across Southeast Asia and Australia.

Roles and responsibilities
- Financial modelling and valuation analyses using different methods, e.g. DCF, transaction and trading comparable, leveraged buyout analysis
- Preparing pitch books, info memos, investor presentation materials for client meetings
- Due diligence & valuation analysis on corporates and assets
- Market, industry and company research and report writing, use of databases, e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
- Support portfolio company management teams in various value-add initiatives
- Engage with stakeholders in the local PE ecosystem, including financial and strategic investors, entrepreneurs, and vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting or closely related areas of Business Administration
- Ideally 1-2 years of prior M&A experience (i.e. investment bank, Corporate Finance/Transaction Services, Corporate Development)
- Strong interest in investments
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
- Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Excel, PPT and Word
