Job description for Investment Accounting at PT Bahtera Pesat Lintasbuana
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure all investment transactions are booked correctly and properly in accordance to accounting standards and on timely manner
- Ensure all investment accounts are reconciled on monthly basis, reviewing and analyzing regularly
- Solve all the investment accounting booking issues
- Liaise with securities accounting team, local investment team and actuary team for all investment accounting matters
- Responsible for regular investment reports submission
- Support external audit process and prepare for investment notes in audit report
- Support regulatory reporting for investment related
- Responsible for all queries related investment from internal & external parties
- Continuously looking for improvement in investment accounting area
- Lead for yearly external audit for PSAK 62 as person in charge to liaise with external auditor including PSAK 62 consolidated audit report preparation
Required Qualifications:
- University Business Degree and/or recognized accounting designation; Accounting preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in finance, min. 2 years’ experience in insurance investment accounting
- Strong technical accounting, and financial analysis and advanced in excel skills
- Good in English –oral & written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced with database applications, experienced of IFS Applications (Lawson, Essbase, DART, JETS)
- Fast learning and adapting
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to influence change
- Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing environments and flexible on overtime may be required to meet business deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with team and other team
