Job description for Internship Human Resource Genralist at KatsLab
We are looking for an HR Intern with an interest in the creative industry to support hiring, onboarding, and people operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in HR systems while working closely with creative teams in a dynamic agency environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, CV and portfolio screening, interview scheduling, offering support, and onboarding.
- Support the recruitment of creative talents such as Graphic Designers, Content Creators, Video Editors, Motion Designers, Social Media Specialists, and other creative roles.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate and new-hire experience throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including contract administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Follow and support recruitment and onboarding SOPs.
HR Administration & Data Management
- Maintain and update employee and candidate records, HR documentation, contracts, and recruitment databases.
- Support daily HR administrative tasks in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Assist in improving HR workflows, recruitment processes, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional departments to support hiring and people operations.
- Contribute ideas to improve candidate experience and internal HR processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to commit to a 6-month internship program.
- Final-year student (semester 7-8) or fresh graduate in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related field.
- Experience handling end-to-end recruitment for creative positions, including candidate sourcing, CV and portfolio screening, interview coordination, offering, and onboarding.
- Experience or exposure to recruiting creative talents such as Graphic Designers, Content Creators, Video Editors, Motion Designers, Social Media Specialists, or other project-based creative roles.
- Familiarity with portfolio-based candidate evaluation and creative hiring workflows is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and candidate information.
WHAT YOU WILL GET
