Job Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of product development and pattern making.
• Proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Freehand and Microsoft Office
• Good personality with a fashionable and professional appearance.
• Creative, fast learner, and highly motivated with excellent service attitude.
• Have a deep understanding of fabric and its characteristics
• Willing to commit to this program for a minimum of 6 months
Job Responsibility:
• Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design
• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as General trends relating to fabrics, colors and Shapes;
• Planning and developing ranges;
• Working with others in Design Teams, such as buyers and Productions, to develop products to meet a brief;
• Create design, choosing appropriate fabrics and follow up samples;
• Developing pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, deadline and adaptations;
• Create technical spec design (Technical Sheet);
• Working with others in the Design Team to develop products.
• Collaborating with the photoshoot team to visualize the collection so the message is delivered correctly
• Choosing fabrics and trimmings for collection development, and sometimes dealing with suppliers
