Job description for Interior Designer at PT Danayasa Arthatama (SCBD)
Job Descriptions :
- Coordinate with architects, interior design consultants, MEP consultants, and project teams to ensure design consistency and project objectives are achieved.
- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, material selections, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and mock-ups prior to construction.
- Ensure all interior designs meet hospitality operational requirements, functionality, aesthetics, safety, and guest experience standards.
- Monitor the implementation of interior works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project budget, and schedule.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team in the selection and approval of materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and interior vendors.
- Evaluate alternative materials and value engineering proposals while maintaining design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, preferably within hotel, hospitality, or property development projects.
- Experience representing the owner/developer in hotel construction or fit-out projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel design standards, space planning, FF&E, OS&E, materials, finishes, and hospitality operations.
- Familiar with design coordination, construction processes, shop drawing review, and site supervision.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
