Job Description
PT Luxsan Precision Indonesia is looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Industrial Engineering Department. In this role, you will be responsible for improving production efficiency, optimizing manufacturing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize production layouts and manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle time.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Analyze production processes to identify waste and implement productivity improvement programs.
- Monitor production yield and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Establish and maintain target production performance indicators.
- Plan and calculate tooling, jig, fixture, and equipment requirements to support production capacity.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance.
- Prepare process documentation, work instructions, and production improvement reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in an electronics manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and manufacturing systems.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S implementation.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of mold manufacturing or mold-related processes is an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to be placed in Batam.
