Job description for Import Staff at PT Ruby Pratama Logistik Indonesia
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1); Diploma (D3) graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Export-Import or Freight Forwarding (Sea Freight)
- Strong understanding of sea import procedures and customs clearance (PIB, PEB, Manifest, LS, SPJM, SPPB)
- Good knowledge of transportation processes, cost control, and deadline management
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and English
Responsibilities:
- Handle and supervise sea freight import operations
- Prepare and review PIB drafts, surveyor reports, and import documents
- Coordinate with customs officers, shipping lines, vendors, and internal departments
- Handle inspection processes (SPJM / NHI) and resolve operational issues
- Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient customs clearance and delivery processes
- Maintain transportation and warehouse vendor data
- Prepare operational reports and administrative documentation related to import activities
