We are looking for an experienced Import Staff to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Handle all import and export documentation processes, including CIPL, Bill of Lading (BL), Form E, and other related documents.
- Prepare draft Import Declarations (PIB) and process PIB payments through the e-Billing system.
- Communicate and coordinate with importers and shippers regarding documentation and shipment schedule
- Determine the appropriate HS Code based on available cargo documentation.
- Manage the end-to-end import and export process.
- Prepare and update shipment reports for each import/export transaction.
- Accompany the operations team during customs inspections and field operations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in customs clearance, specifically handling import shipments.
- Strong knowledge of import and export documentation, including Draft PIB, Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice, and Packing List.
- Experience working in a logistics or freight forwarding company.
- Good communication skills; proficiency in English is an advantage.
