Job description for Ilustrator Fashion at Heart Troops
Heart Troops is a growing modest fashion brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully crafted pieces based in Jakarta.
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Illustrator to join our Creative Product Development team. This role focuses on developing original artworks, motifs, and visual assets that align with the brand’s aesthetic and product direction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and trend research related to motifs, patterns, color palettes, and visual aesthetics.
- Develop creative concepts through moodboards, references, storytelling, and visual exploration.
- Create original illustrations, motifs, prints, and supporting artworks aligned with the brand identity and collection direction.
- Collaborate closely with fashion designers and related teams in developing collection concepts and visual assets.
- Prepare illustration files for production and help coordinate ensure design and color accuracy.
- Support creative product development needs across categories and campaigns when needed.
- Organize and maintain digital archives of artworks, motifs, and creative assets.
- Continuously explore new creative ideas, illustration styles, and visual approaches relevant to the brand.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Visual Communication Design, Fashion Design, or related fields.
- Prior experience in similar position in fashion, textile, or creative industries is a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate and other relevant design tools.
- Strong sense of composition, color, visual storytelling, and aesthetic awareness.
- Able to translate concepts and inspirations into commercially relevant visual designs.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple creative tasks simultaneously.
- Growth-oriented mindset with willingness to learn, test, and improve continuously
- Comfortable working in a dynamic SME environment.
