Job description for Human Resources (HR) Supervisor at KYZN Family Sport & Wellness Club
Responsibilities :
-Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to HR staff.
-Recruitment and Staffing :
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
-Onboarding and Training :
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
-Performance Management :
Support performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on evaluations and goal setting.
Address performance issues and assist in developing improvement plans.
-Employee Relations :
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive workplace culture and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.
-Policy Development and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
-HR Administration:
Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS.
Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
-Compensation and Benefits :
Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree related field.
Experience : Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
