Job description for HRIS Specialist at Travel n Leisure (PT Wyndham Hotel Management)
The HRIS Specialist will be the main point of contact for HR systems across the Asia Pacific region. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and ongoing optimization of HR systems to support the organization's needs. The HRIS Specialist will support the implementation and rollout of new technologies and systems within the region, providing training, ongoing support, and guidance to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to:)
- Maintaining HR systems to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Regularly audit the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and system performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related issues, providing troubleshooting and support as needed.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance and other departments to ensure the HRIS meets the needs of the business.
- Support regional HR technology projects by contributing to the selection, implementation, integration, and rollout of new/updates to HR systems.
- Partner with stakeholders and vendors on project planning, coordination, testing, and deployment activities to ensure successful implementation within the region.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure the new system aligns with regional goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users on the new system's functionalities.
- Monitor any system implementation process, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
- Continuously evaluate the HRIS for opportunities to improve efficiency, user experience, and functionality.
- Generate and analyse HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Customize and configure reports to meet the specific needs of the Asia Pacific region.
- Manage relationships with system/technology vendors (for local systems), monitoring service levels, and ensuring system updates and maintenance are performed as required.
- Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades, patches, and new releases (for local systems), ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
- Ensure the HRIS complies with all relevant data protection laws and regulations.
- Ensure security protocols are maintained and followed to safeguard employee data.
KEY POSITION CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HRIS management.
- Proven experience in implementing HRIS systems, from planning to execution.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and HR compliance requirements.
