Job description for HR Business Partner at Tim Tumbuh
We are looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner (Commercial) to help growing businesses solve their people challenges while expanding TimTumbuh’s client portfolio.
This is a commercial, client-facing HRBP role with targets - not a internal HRBP position. You will work closely with business owners and managers to understand their people operations, identify the real problems, and recommend the right HR solutions.
What You'll Be Up To
- Build relationships with potential clients through outreach, networking, partnerships, and inbound follow-ups.
- Partner with business owners and managers to understand their people and organizational challenges.
- Conduct consultative discovery before recommending any solution.
- Recommend and present TimTumbuh’s HR services, including recruitment, employment contracts and work regulations, payroll, and people development.
- Prepare proposals, define the scope of work, discuss pricing, negotiate, and close agreements.
- Manage client relationships to encourage retention, repeat business, and additional service opportunities.
- Bring client and market feedback to the team to improve existing services and develop new offerings.
- Manage the client pipeline and achieve agreed commercial targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HRBP, HR consulting, account management, consultative business development, or another relevant client-facing role.
- HR practitioners who are ready to move into a commercial role are welcome.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end HR, including recruitment, employment contracts, industrial relations, payroll, and people development.
- Comfortable speaking with business owners, managers, and decision-makers.
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially driven and comfortable working with revenue targets.
- Mature, adaptive, and resilient when handling clients, rejection, and changing priorities.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, client preparation, and proposal development.
Nice-to-Have
- Existing network among SME owners, managers, or HR communities.
- Experience selling HR, consulting, or other professional B2B services.
- Experience building proposals, pricing structures, and service packages.
- Familiarity with CRM or pipeline management tools.
