Job description for Housekeeping Manager at Bebas Villas
We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to take full ownership of cleanliness and room readiness across the property. You will lead the housekeeping team day to day, set the standard, and make sure every villa is guest-ready — on time, every time.
Reports to: Villa Manager
Schedule: 6 days per week, 1 day off · full-time
Salary: [to be confirmed] + service charge at manager tier
What You Will Do
• Lead, schedule and supervise the housekeeping team, including daily task allocation and shift handovers.
• Define and uphold cleaning standards and SOPs for villas, suites and common areas.
• Inspect rooms before check-in and sign them off as guest-ready.
• Manage linen, towel, amenity and cleaning-product stock — track inventory, anticipate needs, and order in time.
• Coordinate with the external laundry service: pickups, deliveries, quality checks and the laundry log.
• Plan and oversee the periodic deep-cleaning programme.
• Work closely with reception on arrivals, departures, early check-ins, late check-outs and special requests.
• Recruit, train and onboard new housekeeping staff.
• Monitor guest feedback related to cleanliness and act on it.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up until they are resolved.
• Track team attendance and performance, and raise issues to management early.
What We Are Looking For
• At least 3 years in housekeeping, including 1 year or more in a supervisory or managerial role — villas, boutique hotels or resorts.
• A genuine eye for detail. You notice the thing the guest would have noticed.
• Able to lead a small team firmly and fairly, including correcting work when needed.
• Organised with schedules, stock and simple spreadsheets.
• Working English, enough to handle guests and written communication.
• Based in or able to relocate to the Uluwatu area.
