Job description for Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor at Veranda Hotels & Residences
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping attendants and public area staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Monitor room status and coordinate with Front Office and Engineering departments.
- Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Manage linen, uniforms, guest amenities, and housekeeping inventories.
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain housekeeping records.
- Assist in scheduling and manpower planning to ensure operational efficiency.
- Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, including supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and quality standards.
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
