Job description for HOST SUPERVISOR at HATCH BALI
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Host, Guest Relations, Floor Supervisor, or similar leadership role, preferably within a nightclub, beach club, bar, restaurant, lifestyle venue, or hospitality environment.
- Strong English communication skills; comfortable communicating naturally with international guests.
- Confident, outgoing, approachable, and genuinely enjoys meeting, talking to, and entertaining people.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, brief, motivate, and coordinate the Host Team during busy nightlife operations.
- Able to read the room and understand different guest situations, including VIPs, regular guests, groups, celebrations, and guests requiring additional attention.
- Strong understanding of guest experience, from welcoming and seating guests to maintaining engagement throughout the night.
- Comfortable handling guest concerns and complaints calmly, while coordinating with Floor/Service and Management when escalation is required.
- Able to coordinate closely with the Door Team regarding reservations, table bookings, VIP arrivals, and guest movements.
- Proactive and highly observant — does not wait to be told when a guest or team member needs assistance.
- Able to maintain positive energy and professionalism even during high-volume and late-night operations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with Door, Floor, Bar, Security, Management, and other operational teams.
- Well-groomed, stylish, confident, and comfortable representing the Hatch Uluwatu nightlife identity.
- Flexible and available to work night shifts, weekends, special events, and public holidays.
- Able to maintain professional boundaries when interacting and socializing with guests.
- Comfortable giving immediate direction and constructive feedback to Host team members during operations.
- Able to prepare basic shift briefings, guest notes, incident information, and operational handovers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to make sensible operational decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of Bali/Uluwatu nightlife, hospitality, entertainment, and international guest expectations is an advantage.
