Job description for Head Store at Nappa Milano
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all daily store operations, including store opening, closing, and ensuring compliance with company SOP
- Supervise, schedule, coach, and evaluate the performance of Sales Associates and Store Assistants.
- Ensure stock availability and inventory accuracy, including coordinating replenishment with the Regional Manager.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of Stock Opname (Stock Take) and inventory control activities.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall appearance in accordance with Nappa Milano's brand standards.
- Lead the store team in executing sales events, promotional campaigns, and operational initiatives.
- Handle daily financial settlement, including cash management, transaction reconciliation, and reporting to the Finance Department.
- Manage the store's petty cash by requesting operational expenses and ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
- Ensure visual merchandising is implemented according to company standards and Regional Manager's direction.
- Act as the main liaison between the store team and the Regional Manager regarding operational updates, issues, and business needs.
- Identify, document, and report any operational irregularities, policy violations, or suspected fraud to the Regional Manager.
- Ensure an excellent customer shopping experience by maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Drive the store team to achieve sales targets and operational KPI
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Head Store, Store Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, or similar leadership role in the retail industry.
- Experience in the footwear, fashion, or retail industry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in leading, supervising, and developing a retail team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good understanding of retail store operations, inventory management, and stock control.
- Familiar with cash handling, petty cash management, and daily financial reconciliation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
- Able to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
