Job description for Head of Marketing at Kayara Massage
About us
Kayara is a growing family massage chain built on one idea: five-star hospitality at neighborhood prices. Our first outlet in Bintaro is going well and we're opening another two in Q3 and Q4 of 2026 with plans to grow to >10 outlets by the end of next year. Founded and personally funded by investment professionals currently working at some of Indonesia's top venture capital and private equity firms, you'll be building alongside people who evaluate and scale companies for a living; and hopes to do the same here.
The scope
This is not a narrow marketing seat. We're an early-stage company, so the honest job description is quite "palugada." You'll own marketing end-to-end and roll up your sleeves wherever the business needs you. That breadth is by design: this role is built as a path to co-founder, with equity ownership.
Your immediate mandate
- Social media strategy: Own Instagram, TikTok, and create content calendars
- Content creation: Concept, produce, and direct content that captures Kayara's warm, family-friendly identity
- Campaigns: Design and execute campaigns (organic and paid) that fill our booking calendar across outlets
- Brand identity: Sharpen and guard Kayara's brand: visual identity, tone of voice, and how it shows up in every outlet
As we grow, so does the role: launch marketing for new outlets, partnerships, community, and whatever growth demands next.
Who we're looking for
- Founder-level mentality above all. You act like an owner: anticipate, don't wait to be told, and treat every post, campaign, and rupiah as your own.
- Proven ability to create content and grow social accounts (portfolio required, personal or professional)
- Strong instinct for warm, wholesome, family-friendly branding in Bahasa Indonesia
- Comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and doing things outside the job description
- Bonus: experience in F&B, wellness, beauty, or other offline consumer brands
The role: Head of Marketing today; co-founder tomorrow. Demonstrate founder-level judgment and ownership, and this seat comes with equity and a genuine place at the founders' table as Kayara scales.
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary Rp8–12 mn/month, depending on experience

This starts as a hybrid role. Work from anywhere, with a regular once-a-week offline meeting near our Bintaro outlet; plus on-site time as content shoots and campaigns require.
