Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise carpentry projects from start to finish.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Team Supervision:
Lead a team of carpenters and apprentices.
Assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace standards.
Technical Work:
Handle complex or precision carpentry tasks.
Solve technical problems on-site.
Inspect structures and make recommendations for repair or improvement.
Resource Management:
Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
Keep track of inventory and tool maintenance.
Quality Control and Safety:
Ensure all work meets safety codes and quality standards.
Conduct inspections and rectify any issues or defects.
