Job description for Head Of Business Development at Smoking Barrels

Qualification:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5+ years) in business development and sales leadership roles, ideally in the coffee, tea, or food and beverage industry.
  • Strong track record of successfully growing sales revenue in a B2B environment, particularly within the horeca sector, as well as in retail (MT/GT).
  • Extensive experience in developing sales strategies, building and leading sales teams, and driving business growth.
  • Excellent understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly motivated with a passion for the coffee and tea industry.
  • Willing to take on challenges to meet both short-term and long-term KPIs and sales targets.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, and Google Spreadsheetย forย reporting.
  • Full Time. Located: Jakarta Selatan.

Responsibility:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategy for revenue growth and market expansion across the B2B horeca and retail (MT/GT) segments.
  2. Lead, mentor, and grow the Business Development team, ensuring KPIs are met and sales targets achieved.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in horeca and retail, ensuring excellent service and support throughout the sales cycle.
  4. Develop and oversee sales pipelines, track key metrics, and generate regular reports to evaluate performance.
  5. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity, including setting integrated pricelist and pricing strategy insights.
  6. Work closely with Marketing and Operations Department, to align on product offerings, branding, and go-to-market strategies.
