One of my colleagues is urgently seeking a Head of Administration for his client, an international school in Jakarta, with details as follows:

HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION

Reporting to: Headteacher/Board

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage all school administration functions to support educational objectives.

• Oversee administrative staff, ensuring high standards and efficient operations.

• Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations, seeking legal advice as needed.

• Optimize resource use to align with the school’s mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Advise and support the Senior Leadership Team in strategic decision-making.

• Identify and mitigate key personnel risks.

• Drive school improvement initiatives and lead specific projects annually.

• Foster a positive, solution-oriented culture and support

departmental leaders.

• Organize and chair meetings to implement policies and ensure alignment.

Operations & Quality Assurance

• Monitor workload distribution and drive efficiency through performance management.

• Implement best practices and establish clear escalation procedures.

• Ensure staff receive proper training, guidance, and development.

Professional Conduct

• Promote strong relationships within the school and broader community.

• Lead by example, fostering collaboration and team development.

• Encourage a professional, cooperative, and high-performance work environment.

• Take responsibility for personal and staff professional development.

Requirement:

Strong admin experience in an international environment. Eg. MNC, International School, or, International University.
