Job description for Head Chef at Primelux Padel Club
Lead all kitchen operations at Primelux Padel Club, responsible for menu development, food quality, kitchen hygiene, and cost control. Deliver a food offering that aligns with the premium, health-conscious, and active lifestyle positioning of the club.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the kitchen menu — healthy snacks, post-game meals, and main courses
- Manage all kitchen staff scheduling, task assignment, and performance
- Ensure food preparation
- Maintain strict food hygiene, HACCP standards, and kitchen cleanliness
- Control food costs, minimize waste, and maintain F&B cost ratio
- Oversee ingredient procurement, quality checks, and stock management
- Train Cook / Line Cook team on recipes, plating standards, and health compliance
- Coordinate with F&B Captain on daily specials, event menus, and catering orders
- Handle equipment checks, kitchen maintenance reports, and supplier relationships
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Min. 4 years experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef in a restaurant or hospitality venue
- Strong understanding of food costing, kitchen management, and health regulations
- Experience in health-conscious, contemporary cuisine preferred
- Leadership ability to manage and develop a small kitchen team
- Good English proficiency for coordination with expat team and international guests
