As the Head Chef at Namarasa Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary identity of our restaurant. Key responsibilities include:
- Crafting innovative menu items that reflect the unique blend of kopitiam and Indonesian flavors.
- Supervising the kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Ensuring all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the management team to develop new dishes and enhance existing recipes.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen area.
We are looking for a candidate who is not only experienced but also eager to contribute to the success of our culinary journey. Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in high-end restaurants, with a proven track record in head chef roles.
- Strong expertise in food handling, cooking, food decoration, and baking.
- A passion for Indonesian cuisine and a creative flair for developing new recipes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and lead the kitchen team effectively.
- Experienced in Singaporean/Malaysian/Oriental Food
- Has experience managing Central Kitchen
