For New Cafe Opening in Jakarta - New FnB Cafe [South Jakarta]
Key Responsibilities :
Job Description:
Lead the bar team and ensure the highest standard of coffee quality, service, and operations for our new cafe.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years as Head Barista or Senior Barista in a cafe, coffee shop, or F&B outlet
- Coffee Skills: Expert in espresso-based drinks, manual brewing V60, Chemex, Aeropress, Siphon, and advanced latte art
- Leadership: Proven experience in training baristas, creating SOPs, managing inventory, and scheduling
- English Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English. Able to communicate with international customers and suppliers
- Menu Development: Creative in developing new signature drinks and seasonal menus
- Quality Control: Strong attention to detail in taste consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Problem Solving: Able to handle customer complaints professionally and work under pressure during peak hours
- Preferred:SCA Barista Certification or Q-Grader is a plus
- Experience in opening a new cafe / setting up a bar from scratch
- Basic knowledge of COGS, costing, and waste management
- Good knowledge of café operations, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Barista certification or relevant training is an advantage.
