Job Description: Handyman\Fitter for Villa Maintenance and Repair
Position Title: Handyman
Location: Bali, Indonesia UBUD, PANDAVA, MELASTI and on 2025 Canggu
Reports To: MECHANIC\ENGINEER
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
The Handyman will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general
upkeep of a Company villa complex on the island of Bali. This role involves
performing preventive maintenance, addressing emergency repairs, and
ensuring that all mechanical, plumbing, and other systems are functioning
optimally. The Handyman will also collaborate with the DPT Manager to ensure
that all villas are in excellent condition, providing a safe and comfortable
environment for guests and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of all villas and common areas to identify
and address maintenance needs.
Perform general repairs such as fixing leaks, repairing doors, windows,
and other structural components.
Maintain and service electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure
they are in proper working order.
Directly Reports to Mechanic\Engineer following any of his
technical daily instructions
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all villas
and equipment.
Perform routine checks and servicing of systems to prevent
breakdowns and costly repairs.
Ensure that all safety and compliance regulations are met, including fire
alarms, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment- reports to
Mechanic\Engineer AND to Electrical Team and Security team !
Emergency Repairs:
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, such as plumbing
leaks, electrical issues, and other urgent maintenance needs.
Coordinate with external contractors when necessary for specialized
repairs.
Ensure minimal disruption to residents and guests during any
repair ( including emergency repairs, as much as possible).
Equipment and Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for
maintenance and repairs.
Keep records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and any
equipment replacements.
Order necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner to avoid
delays in repair work.
Collaboration and Communication:
Reports and works closely with the Mechanical Engineer to prioritize
the schedule of maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively with residents and guests regarding
maintenance activities and timelines only through the Lobby \Reception
staff by their Official noted/texted Requests ONLY !
Provide regular updates on the status of maintenance tasks and any
potential issues.
General Duties:
Assist GARDENER AND Pool Maintenance Team with landscaping, pool
maintenance, and other exterior upkeep if needed. Reports to them if
any issues are observed regarding their responsibilities.
Ensure that all work areas are and clean after ANY WORK including
emergency work
Ensure that all work areas are SAFE organized and do not
start\continue ANY work when unsafe staff or condition to work
are observed.
REPORTS TO MECHANIC ENGINEER and TECH DPT MANAGER for
A N Y unSafe staff observed !
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Mechanic\Engineer.
In case of Emergency he is helping to each Resident\Guest to leave the
unsafe territory of the Complex by the Emergency Route. In
coordination with any staff of the Complex.
