Job description for GUEST RELATION OFFICER at Zodiac Group
GUEST RELATION OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY
ZODIAC GROUP is seeking a Guest Relation Officer (GRO) for its newly established bar in Jalan Senopati. This role is for someone who naturally embodies hospitality — someone who understands the rhythm of nightlife, guest flow, and interpersonal connection.
The job requires a warm, confident, and culture-aware individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere, maintain strong guest relationships, and ensure every guest feels seen, valued, and taken care of. You will be the face and voice of the bar, setting the tone for the guest experience from the moment they arrive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an on-brand, guest-facing representative of Zodiac during operational hours and special events
- Build and nurture relationships with regular guests, VIPs, collaborators, and key community members
- Manage and maintain the guest database, including visit history, preferences, RSVPs, and engagement notes
- Coordinate with Marketing on guest list curation, invitation outreach, and event-related hospitality
- Support Marketing initiatives through community engagement, networking, and brand presence
- Assist in executing brand experiences aligned with Zodiac’s creative and cultural identity
- Provide feedback and insights to Marketing regarding guest behavior, trends, and brand perception
- Work collaboratively with the Host and FOH team only when needed for guest flow — but remain primarily Marketing-driven
- Maintain strong product knowledge (events, promotions, offerings) to engage guests confidently
- Ensure every interaction reflects Zodiac’s warm, sharp, and culture-conscious hospitality style
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in Guest Relation, PR, Host/Hostess, Community Engagement, or a customer-facing lifestyle role
- Strong interpersonal skills — confident, warm, charismatic, and naturally communicative
- Deep understanding of nightlife culture, creative communities, and lifestyle-driven hospitality
- Presentable, energetic, professional, and able to engage diverse guests
- Comfortable networking and interacting with community figures, creators, and returning regulars
- Familiarity with guest database, CRM, or RSVP systems is a strong plus
- Culture-conscious and passionate about hospitality with soul
- Able to work closely with the Marketing team and understand brand positioning
