Trehaus is a family-focused education and community brand offering high-quality early childhood education, enrichment, events and family experiences.
We are looking for a creative and highly organised Graphic Designer to join our Jakarta team and help bring the Trehaus brand to life across digital, print, social media, events and our physical school environment.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong visual eye, understands social media content and enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Marketing Design
• Create high-quality visual assets for Trehaus marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Develop graphics for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
• Design promotional materials including flyers, brochures, posters, banners and digital advertisements.
• Ensure all materials follow Trehaus brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
2. Social Media & Content
• Create engaging social media content that communicates Trehaus’ educational philosophy, activities and community.
• Develop Instagram posts, Stories, Reels covers and campaign visuals.
• Support the marketing team with visual concepts for content calendars and campaigns.
• Adapt designs into different formats and platforms efficiently.
• Basic video editing and motion graphics would be an advantage.
3. School & Event Design
• Design materials for school events, workshops, open houses and community activities.
• Create signage, posters, standees, certificates, invitations and event collateral.
• Develop creative visual concepts for seasonal campaigns and school celebrations.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure materials are delivered and installed correctly.
4. Education & Parent Communications
• Design visually engaging materials for parent communications and school announcements.
• Create educational posters, classroom materials and activity-related graphics when required.
• Support teachers and the academic team with visual materials for events and learning experiences.
5. Photography & Video
• Support basic photography and videography during school activities and events.
• Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Assist in creating photo/video assets that showcase the Trehaus experience.
6. Production & Vendor Coordination
• Prepare artwork correctly for digital and print production.
• Liaise with printers and external creative vendors when required.
• Ensure designs meet the correct specifications for size, resolution, colour profile and finishing.
• Maintain an organised library of editable design files and brand assets.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, social media and marketing design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign.
• Experience with Canva is a plus.
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Good understanding of social media design and current visual trends.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with Marketing, Operations and Academic teams.
• Good communication skills in English.
