Job description for Graphic Designer at TUFF Athletes
TUFF Athletes is looking for a Graphic Designer who can help shape how the brand looks across social media, athlete content, campaigns, events, partnerships, merchandise, and everything else we build. We want someone who understands composition, typography, visual hierarchy, mood, and identity, and knows when a design should feel polished, raw, loud, minimal, weird, or somewhere in between.

WHO WEβRE LOOKING FOR
Weβd love someone who:
π¨ Has a strong eye for design, typography, layout, and composition.
π» Is comfortable using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, or similar design software.
π± Understands how design works specifically for social media, not just print.
π§ Can take a rough idea or reference and develop it into something original.
π Pays attention to details without spending three days moving one text box by 2 pixels.
π Has an interest in sports, streetwear, youth culture, music, fashion, or contemporary visual culture.
π€ Can collaborate with content creators, marketers, athletes, and other creatives.
β‘ Is comfortable working in a small team where projects can move quickly.
EXPERIENCE
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Around 0β2 years of experience in graphic design, branding, social media design, creative work, or related fields is great β but your portfolio matters more than the number of years on your CV.
A PLUS IF YOU:
Regularly follow or play sports.
Understand sports branding and athlete culture.
Can do basic motion graphics or animation.
Know how to prepare artwork for merchandise or printing.
Have experience with photography or video.
Have a slightly unhealthy obsession with typography.
HOW WE WORK
Hybrid.
Most design work can be done remotely.
There may occasionally be meetings, shoots, tournaments, events, or other TUFF activities where joining the team in person helps you understand the project better.
We care much more about the work getting done properly than pretending everyone needs to sit in an office for eight hours.
