Designer 2D (Illustration & Content)
What You’ll Do
• Create original 2D illustrations, characters, and visual assets for digital and print materials (worksheets, activity books, wall graphics, social media posts, parenting guides, stickers, classroom decorations, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a consistent, joyful visual identity/illustration style guide for KinderKloud and KinderKlub.
• Produce marketing collateral: Instagram/Facebook carousels, Reels thumbnails, email newsletters, event banners, and merchandise designs.
• Prepare print-ready files and work with vendors for large-format printing (wall murals, play-zone signage, etc.).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Communication Design
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a 2D designer/illustrator (experience in children’s brands, edtech, publishing, or toy companies is a big plus).
• Strong portfolio showcasing:
• Cute, colorful, child-friendly character design & illustration
• Ability to draw in multiple styles (especially soft, whimsical, and modern-flat styles)
• Layout skills for worksheets, books, and social media
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (Procreate skills are welcome)
• Adobe After Effects (must be comfortable creating character animation, kinetic typography, and educational explainer videos)
• Premiere Pro or similar video editing software (cutting, sound design, color grading)
