Job description for Graphic Designer at Luna Beach Club
About The Role:
Creates visually appealing designs to promote the club's amenities, events, and brand. Develops graphics for various platforms, including social media, websites, print materials, and signage. Collaboration with marketing teams ensures designs align with brand identity and messaging. Also contributes to the creation of marketing campaigns and advertisements. Strong proficiency in graphic design software and a keen eye for aesthetics are essential. Overall, graphic designers play a vital role in enhancing the visual representation of the beach club and attracting guests. Defines requirements, visualizes, and creates logos, illustrations, and layouts.
Core Work Activities:
- Designing web pages, brochures, logos, billboards, menus, advertisements, promotional content, social media content, and other marketing collaterals.
- Creating content materials by hand or using specialized gadgets supported by design software.
- Collaborating with marketing teams and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that align with the beach club's brand identity and messaging.
- Incorporating elements of beach and coastal aesthetics into designs to evoke the desired atmosphere and appeal to the club's target audience.
- Creating designs that are both visually striking and communicative, effectively conveying key messages and information to viewers.
- Generating original ideas and concepts while also being open to feedback and revisions from clients and team members.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Keeping up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously seeking opportunities for skill development and improvement.
- Choosing appropriate sizes, styles, and types for text and images to ensure clear visibility or readability.
- Reviewing final designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications before production or publication.
- Providing support for other design-related tasks and projects within the beach club as needed.
Key Requirements:
- English Proficiency: Intermediate level in both verbal and written communication.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential for creating engaging graphics.
- UI Design and Video Editing: Familiarity with UI design principles and video editing tools is advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to learn quickly and achieve set goals.
- Collaborative Nature: Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Creative Thinking: Strong creative thinking skills to generate innovative design concepts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
