Job Summary
MixWork is seeking a creative and hands-on Graphic Designer cum Video Editor to join our client company. The ideal candidate possesses a strong eye for design, is highly adept at creating compelling social media content, and maintains a solid understanding of current digital and visual trends. You will work on a variety of creative projects with a strong focus on social media graphics, Instagram Reels, and short-form video content. This role provides operational support to the client's core Singapore / International team.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and visually appealing graphics for social media, digital campaigns, and marketing materials for our client company.
- Design promotional artwork, advertisements, story content, and digital assets.
- Edit short-form videos, primarily Instagram Reels and TikTok-style content in a 9:16 vertical format.
- Develop engaging video edits incorporating appropriate transitions, text, subtitles, music, sound effects, and pacing.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to conceptualize ideas and execute campaigns.
- Adapt designs and videos for varying brands, campaigns, and target audiences.
- Maintain strict consistency in branding, typography, colors, and overall visual direction.
- Monitor and leverage current social media trends, design innovations, and short-form video formats.
- Assist with supplementary creative and design-related projects as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design and/or video editing.
- Strong foundational understanding of graphic design principles, typography, layout, and visual composition.
- Keen aesthetic eye, meticulous attention to detail, and awareness of current social media trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Graphic Design Software: Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Video Editing Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and experience creating 9:16 vertical short-form videos is required.
- AI Tool Proficiency (Plus Point): Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or other AI-assisted creative tools to assist with content ideas, copywriting, brainstorming, research, and workflow efficiency.
- Additional Skills (Good to Have): Experience in social media content management, basic motion graphics/animation, basic photography/videography, and managing multiple brand campaigns.
- A strong creative portfolio showcasing both design and video editing work is mandatory.
