Job description for Golang Developer (Contract - Banking) at PT. Pro Integrate Consulting
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer – Golang to join a 12-month banking project. This role is ideal for developers with strong experience in Golang, microservices, distributed systems, and financial/banking applications.
Responsibilities
- 1. Develop and maintain backend applications using Golang.
- 2. Build and integrate REST APIs and gRPC services.
- 3. Develop and maintain scalable microservices for banking/financial applications.
- 4. Work with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and Redis.
- 5. Integrate applications with internal banking systems and third-party services.
- 6. Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- 7. Collaborate with BA, QA, DevOps, Product, and fellow developers.
- 8. Participate in Agile/Scrum, code reviews, and production support.
- 9. Ensure applications meet requirements for security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements
- 1. 3–5+ years of experience in Backend Development with strong Golang expertise.
- Strong experience with: Microservices Architecture, REST API & gRPC, Distributed Systems, Concurrency, Goroutines & Channels, Performance Optimization
- 2. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and/or RabbitMQ.
- 3. Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and scalable system design.
- 4. Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- 5. Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and transaction handling.
- Banking/Fintech experience is highly preferred.
- 6. Candidates from banking or large-scale technology/startup companies are strongly preferred.
- 7. Able to conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
