Requirements:
- Final-year undergraduate student or recent graduate in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in human genetics, genomics, and scientific research.
- Able to read, interpret, and summarize peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Basic understanding of genetic variants, genetics, and genomics.
- Familiarity with scientific literature databases and genetic variant resources is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for organizing and managing data.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and summarize peer-reviewed scientific literature related to human genetics and genomics.
- Curate and organize genetic variant information from scientific publications and public genomic databases.
- Assist in evaluating the strength and relevance of published genetic evidence for research activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of curated genetic information and supporting references.
- Support research projects through scientific data compilation, validation, and literature-based analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research documentation and knowledge resources.
