Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced GCP Customer Engineer to join our Engineering Department. You will manage technical engagements focused on infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves providing expert architectural guidance, implementation support for GCP technologies, and developing migration strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical engagements for infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation using GCP.
- Provide expert architectural guidance and implementation support for key GCP technologies (GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, AlloyDB, GCP Networking).
- Develop migration strategies, technical blueprints, and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Designed and implemented infrastructure modernization solutions using Compute Engine and managed instance groups.
- Architect advanced networking configurations (shared VPC, hybrid connectivity).
- Develop database modernization strategies with Cloud SQL and AlloyDB.
- Lead container strategy discussions and GKE implementations.
- Create technical demonstrations for BigQuery-based analytics solutions.
- Facilitate technical discovery seminars and implement hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
- Develop reference architectures and technical documentation.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for complex GCP environments.
- Mentor junior engineers on GCP best practices.
- Integrate open-source technologies with GCP services.
- On-site work required 2-3 days per week, with potential nationwide travel.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in cloud technologies, enterprise IT operations, and customer-facing technical roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and serverless architectures.
- Expert-level knowledge of GCP architecture patterns and networking concepts.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes orchestration and microservices design.
- Proficiency in at least two infrastructure programming languages (Python, Go, Java).
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with data processing solutions using BigQuery.
- Experience with security controls (IAM, VPC Service Controls).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Artifact Registry).
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud certifications, especially Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience in developing complex migration strategies from on-premises or other clouds to GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Database Migration Service, VM Migration, Cloud SQL, and AlloyDB.
- Experience with logging and monitoring solutions, enterprise storage patterns, and disaster recovery.
- Proficiency in cloud cost optimization techniques and GCP’s AI/ML offerings.
- Strong API management skills.
- Experience integrating open-source technologies with GCP services.
Additional Information:
- Must be located within Indonesia.
- Preference for candidates residing in the Jabodetabek area.
- Nationwide travel may be required.
