Job Summary
We are looking for a Game Live-Ops Staff to manage and improve the day-to-day operations of our online games.
The role focuses on player activity, events, game content, engagement, monetization, and live-service performance. You will analyze player behavior and propose events or game adjustments based on data, observation, and your own analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor daily game activity, player behavior, and engagement.
• Analyze player feedback, gameplay trends, and player activity to identify issues and opportunities.
• Plan and prepare in-game events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Create event proposals and game adjustment proposals based on analysis.
• Playtest the game and provide clear feedback and improvement suggestions.
• Monitor game economy, item balance, rewards, and monetization.
• Adjust event mechanics, rewards, and game content based on player demand and business objectives.
• Work closely with the Marketing, Community and Developer
• Monitor gaming industry trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for game improvement.
• Support daily live-service operations and other operational tasks when required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (S1) or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Service (CS) is required.
• Experience in the gaming industry is highly preferred.
• Passionate about games and actively plays mobile games and/or MMO games.
• Strong critical thinking and basic logical analysis skills.
• Able to understand and analyze player behavior and activity.
• Able to create clear event proposals and game adjustment proposals based on personal analysis.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Willing to work with flexible hours or shift schedules (of 12 hours) when required by live-service operations.
Technical & Professional Skills
• Understanding of player psychology, engagement, and gaming activity.
• Ability to playtest games and write structured analysis.
• Understanding of game economy and monetization.
• Ability to evaluate and adjust game balance, content, rewards, and player demand.
• Understanding of current gaming industry trends.
• Basic ability to interpret player activity and operational data.
• Strong communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with live-service games.
• Experience managing game events or campaigns.
• Experience with mobile games or MMORPGs.
• Basic knowledge of game analytics or KPI monitoring.
• Experience working with game communities or Customer Service teams.
