Job description
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop features and functionality within the ICANDO platform for deployment to Android and iOS targets
Identify, design, and develop, new features and components requested by Design and Curriculum teams
Review and provide specifications for supporting documentation of the ICANDO platform in Unity
Collaborate with Art and Design teams to ensure layouts, animations, and graphical assets are efficiently integrated into application features while preserving artistic integrity and performance
Coordinate with Engineering teams to define development timeframes, dependencies, and areas of risk to be considered in project planning
Actively advise or inform the teams/leads/producers of foreseeable issues or problematic techniques
Qualifications:
- Expert-level experience with Unity environment
- C# coding expertise in Unity
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code
- Ability to work within a multi-person game studio
- A passion for making and playing games, particularly Serious Games
- BA/BS in technology related field is a plus
- Unity shader programming or creation is a plus
- Design pattern understanding is a plus
