Job description
The Technical Lead developer will be a key part of the Information Technology department that builds, supports, and scales the IT business applications or projects of Fullerton Healthcare Group and entities.
This individual will ensure the systems are within quality and meeting the service performance expectation.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in new systems development, enhancements and maintenance to existing applications to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Responsible for programming, problem resolution and user support for one or more system applications
- Plan, execute and monitor projects assigned to ensure deliverables are within scope, budget and schedule
- Prepares technical and user documentation
- Responsible for guiding multiple teams of senior and junior developers in their daily work
- Ensure codes are written to industry standards in terms of security and design
- Responsible for instilling discipline in the DevOps process and the setup and deployment of multiple environments. This includes setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintains version control with the team using Git
- Manages deliverables with the Agile/SCRUM methodology (on the JIRA platform) by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint kickoffs and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Computing or related majors
- 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Javascript software development for senior position
- Good working experience developing web applications, and integrating enterprise systems
- Good working experience with JavaScript, RESTful APIs and related technologies
- Good working experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB/MySQL, ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS)
- Good working experience with relational databases such as MySQL / Oracle, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB
- Demonstrable portfolio of projects in the technologies listed above.
- Demonstrable and good working experience in leading a team of developers.
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Be familiar with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins
- Be familiar with the Agile/SCRUM methodology
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
