About the Role
We’re looking for a Fullstack Developer to join Paycombat, a company providing secure and scalable payment gateway infrastructure for startups and enterprise businesses. You’ll work on systems that power online payments, transaction processing, and billing flows used by merchants across multiple industries.
At Paycombat, we focus on building seamless payment experiences, from checkout integration to real-time transaction handling, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability at every step.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain backend (Golang - Gin) and frontend (React) systems
- Build and maintain APIs and system integrations
- Manage database (PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis) layers
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable codeBuild and maintain backend services using Go/Golang for payment processing systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend/fullstack experience, with strong expertise in Go/Golang
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid engineering fundamentals, not reliant on copy-paste or AI shortcuts
- Hands-on experience with:
- Golang (Gin)
- JavaScript (React)
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Experience building high-availability systems (microservices is a plus)
- Strong understanding of:
- API design
- Database and query optimization
- Concurrency and performance
- Comfortable working with clients/products in risky industries such as iGaming and crypto
Nice to Have
- Experience in payment gateway, fintech, or banking industry
- Hands-on experience with Payment gateways, Webhooks and idempotency
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
