About Us
Our Company is a leading mobile shopping and online business platform dedicated to providing customers with a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Our company has quickly grown to become a trusted name in the e-commerce industry, offering a wide range of products from top brands and independent sellers.
Responsibilities:
1. Have experience in basic cross browser support, caching and optimization techniques (css sprite, minify, gzip, data uri) for faster page load times.
2. Build responsive design, handle page navigation and turn mockups into actual web pages quickly and according to spec.
3. Write and maintain reusable code with documentation and testing/QA at all stages through integration.
4. Collaborate daily with other developers across the full software development lifecycle.
5. Write, test, maintain and document reusable code in PHP and MySQL.
6. Develop enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code using best practices, quickly and according to spec.
7. Develop APIs, outputting JSON or XML for use by frontend interfaces.
8. Technical Skill and Experience Requirements:
9. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
10. Software development fundamentals, including testing, troubleshooting and using version control (we use Gitlab).
11. 3+ years of professional web application development experience
12. 3+ year’s professional experience in software development using JavaScript and/or Java.
13. 3+ years professional experiance in Golang and RabbitMQ
14. Well rounded engineering skills, with full-stack development web and services experience.
15. Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology
16. Be proficient in Front-end Coding and Design (Laravel, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and libraries or frameworks such as Angular and React JS)
17. Have built applications using Java based stacks such as Spring MVC, Play, GWT, etc.
18. Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs.
19. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Golang, Perl, PHP (Laravel), Ruby, Python, RabbitMQ, or Unix shell scripting.
20. Experience with data interchange formats such as XML or JSON.
21. Demonstrated achievement in backend development technologies using PHP and API development (portfolio required).
22. Ability to work with databases, such as MySQL and third-party APIs.
23. Ability to create component-based reusable and testable APIs.
24. Understanding of networking, platforms, caching layers, proxies, or other web services used in the system.
25. Basic Linux server and environment experience.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
1. Experience in Online shopping platform
2. Experience using jQuery, AJAX, docker and a JavaScript framework like Meteor.js or Node.js.
3. Exposure to technologies similar to those our team uses on a daily basis — PHP, MySQL.
4. Experience with any of the following: Composer, Vagrant, PHP Storm or PHP Unit.
5. Working knowledge of PSR standards.
6. Ability to write unit tests using BDD or TDD
