Job description for Full Stack Developer at Practical DevSecOps
About the Role
We're looking for a Fullstack Developer with a strong Python foundation. You'll be building backend services and APIs in Python/Django, with the ability to work across the stack when needed. You'll ship real features that directly affect the products our customers rely on.
This is a hybrid role based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Python is the core of this role — everything else is a strong advantage.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django
Work across the stack on fullstack features when needed
Write clean, typed frontend code in TypeScript with Next.js
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker
Collaborate with product and engineering to ship working software
Maintain code quality through review, testing, and documentation
Requirements
Python — Mandatory
Strong Python skills — this is the core language for the role
Hands-on experience with Django, including REST API development
TypeScript — Strong Advantage
Solid TypeScript skills, not just JavaScript familiarity
Experience building with Next.js
Infrastructure — Good to Have
Experience with Docker and containerization
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
Experience with coding agents or automation workflows
Background in security-aware or DevSecOps practices
Clear written and spoken English
